Recent Work: Love & The Outcome Interview & Bio

I sat down with Jodi King and her husband, Chris Rademaker, in their home in Nashville over the summer and talked about their new album, These Are The Days. I got to meet their adorable baby, Milo, and taste Jodi’s famous 5-ingredient chocolate chip cookies. Known as Love & The Outcome, this Canadian couple’s debut self-titled album released in 2013 and won multiple awards, reached top 15 on the Christian Gospel Overall Albums chart, and sold over 75,000 units as well as received over 7.5 million streams. The duo became a mainstay at Christian radio and shared the stage with Newsboys, Switchfoot, Lecrae, TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, and more. Recent Work: Steven Curtis Chapman’s Worship and Believe Bio

This project was definitely one of the highlights of my career. I was invited to write the press bio (and Song by Song Synopsis) for Steven Curtis Chapman’s first worship project, Worship and Believe. This icon of Christian music has sold more than 11 million albums over his 30-year career, and yet this album is his first foray into corporate worship music for the church. I spent a good part of the day at the Chapman’s home, hearing his story and gathering the details. Part of the challenge with this project was to not only capture the newsworthiness of the project but to do it in a way that delicately handled the backstory. As most know, Chapman’s daughter was killed in an accident at the Chapman’s home, and that loss will forever influence his work as an artist and minister.
