I sat down with Jodi King and her husband, Chris Rademaker, in their home in Nashville over the summer and talked about their new album, These Are The Days. I got to meet their adorable baby, Milo, and taste Jodi’s famous 5-ingredient chocolate chip cookies.
Known as Love & The Outcome, this Canadian couple’s debut self-titled album released in 2013 and won multiple awards, reached top 15 on the Christian Gospel Overall Albums chart, and sold over 75,000 units as well as received over 7.5 million streams. The duo became a mainstay at Christian radio and shared the stage with Newsboys, Switchfoot, Lecrae, TobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, and more.
The folks from their management and label team recorded the interview, from which I wrote their new bio.
Here’s a snippet from the interview!
In this segment, she references the Ryman. I had just asked her about her experience playing there for the Sam’s Place series in March 2016. Steven Curtis Chapman was hosting, and I had recently written his bio. I hadn’t heard of Love & The Outcome, but when they played, I was blown away and Instagrammed this:
“I don’t know who this woman is but she was singing, playing keys & beating the drum … on stage, in leather, 3 weeks after giving birth. Wonder Woman status unlocked.”
They’re a fantastic couple and their music is great! Check out their new album when it releases September 23!
